EA SPORTS Player of the Month nominee: De Bruyne
The Belgian played a key role in Manchester City's 100% record during September, scoring two goals and providing two assists for Pep Guardiola's side.
As well as his creative output De Bruyne showed hard work in abundance - a vital factor of Guardiola’s team - winning four tackles and making five interceptions.
He has been involved in a goal in each of his last five Premier League appearances, his best run in the competition.
"Kevin is a special player," Guardiola told mancity.com after City's 4-0 over AFC Bournemouth on 17 September. "Without the ball he’s a fighter and with the ball he's clear, he sees everything.
"Everytime he decides the right decision and we are lucky to have him. Hopefully he can keep playing the amazing football.
"Of course he is one of the best there is no doubt about that but to win prizes will depend on the team winning titles."
