Sultan of Sokoto endorses singer's peace campaign

The singer's promotion of religious tolerance was done in conjunction with an NGO, a platform that allowed him meet the Sultan of Sokoto and others.

R&B singer, 2Face Idibia is still fresh from his peace campaign trip Sokoto State where he met the Sultan and other leaders.

The singer came up to a good reception when the Sultan of Sokoto, Saad Abubakar endorsed his programme.
The popular monarch, according to a press organisation said "Religion can never justify crime", a statement that expresses his support for a violence free society.

The mission was clear for the singer. He was out to ensure a society with a higher tolerance for religious differences.
